At The Children's Advocacy Center of Jackson County, we believe in the power of education and prevention to protect children from abuse and create safer communities.

Our prevention trainings are designed to equip individuals, organizations, and communities with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to recognize, respond to, and prevent child abuse and neglect. Through interactive workshops, seminars, and educational materials, we empower participants to become advocates for child safety and well-being.

NEW Internet Safety Class

Smartphones, social media, gaming platforms, and messaging apps are woven into the daily lives of tweens and teens. For many young people, the digital world is where friendships form, conversations happen, and identities take shape.

But while technology evolves quickly, guidance and safeguards don’t always keep pace.

That’s why we’re offering SafetyNet, an internet safety program designed specifically for adults who work with or care for children.

SafetyNet covers essential topics such as online privacy, digital boundaries, cyberbullying, online exploitation, and how trusted adults can respond in a trauma-informed way.

Together, we can build stronger digital awareness and safer online environments for the next generation.
