At the Children’s Advocacy Center of Jackson County, we believe every child deserves safety, support, and the chance to heal.
Our Caring for Kids Campaign helps make that possible.
When children and families come to CACJC, they receive compassionate, specialized services in a place designed to help them feel safe and supported. From forensic interviews and medical exams to therapy, family support, and prevention education, our center walks alongside families during some of the hardest moments of their lives.
How We Help Children and Families
At CACJC, children and caregivers are met with care, comfort, and a team of professionals trained to respond to abuse in child-centered ways.
We offer the following supportive services to children and families:
Forensic interviews in a safe, welcoming setting
Medical exams from providers specially trained to work with children
Therapy and emotional support for children and families
Family support and guidance through next steps
Prevention trainings that help adults learn how to keep children safe
Ongoing support for families as they heal and move forward
The CACJC supports the child, but also the whole family through advocacy, counseling, medical care, education, and connection to additional resources.
