This one day training will teach you the facts around child sexual abuse, the ways YOU can help prevent it, and the signs that abuse has occurred. There are 2 sessions available. The first session is the Stewards of Children evidence based training that teaches the 5 steps to prevent, recognize, and respond to child sexual abuse. This training is required to attend the second session, BUT if you have taken the Stewards of Children training in the last 3 years you may register for just the second session. The second session teaches us about sexual exploitation of children, setting boundaries for children, and talking with children about safety from sexual abuse. You will also hear from Homeland Security agent David Schroeder on internet safety for our children.
