Dedicated to transforming lives from trauma to triumph, this year’s luncheon focuses on raising awareness and garnering support for children impacted by Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). At CACJC, our mission is to protect and heal children who have experienced abuse and neglect. This year, our Cherish a Child Luncheon is dedicated to addressing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), which are early traumas with profound and lasting effects on a child’s life. Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are significant stressors that can profoundly affect a child’s development and long-term health. At CACJC, we witness the impact of these challenges every day. Our trauma-informed approach addresses the root causes, helping children recover and thrive.
Early intervention is crucial. Untreated ACEs can lead to severe consequences, including chronic health issues, social difficulties, and diminished economic opportunities. At CACJC, we recognize the widespread impact of trauma, which is why we employ a trauma-informed care (TIC) framework in all our services.
